ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF RADIOLOGY -$30,000 SIGN ON BONUS LOCATION: Hospital that is within an hour of Sacramento, CA COMPENSATION: Salary Range up to $178,000+, Excellent Benefits and Relocation Assistance plus $30,000 Sign On Bonus OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services, the Assistant Director is a Certified and Registered Radiologic Technologist (CRT, ARRT), responsible for supervising daily operations of the Radiology support staff (front office and tech assistants) and imaging modalities, maintaining staffing, workflow, and performance improvement.
Participate in interviewing perspective employees, training and orienting new employees and when necessary participate in disciplinary actions.
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating Imaging Services daily.
Be a team leader maximizing the skills within the group to reach a given objective.
Delegate responsibilities based on the abilities of staff members, organizational needs and priorities.
Be a key player in the development of employees.
Evaluate employee performance thoroughly and objectively.
Help employees reach their potential by encouraging professional growth while identifying abilities and building on their interests.
In the absence of the Imaging Services Director, the Assistant Director is responsible for the standards, staff, leadership, and decision-making.
Education Required:
Associate of Science Degree required, Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
Experience Required:
Minimum five years of supervisory experience preferred.
Certifications Required:
American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
