SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST – NOW HIRING IN CHARLESTON SOUTH CAROLINA AREA

 We are looking for SURGICAL TECHNOLOGISTS to join the team in an outstanding Hospital with several campuses in nearby Charleston, South Carolina.  We are looking for Surgical Techs to become an integral part of the team of their medical practitioners providing surgical care to our patients. Working with surgeons under their supervision a primary duty will be to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.  Your responsibility will be to make certain patient safety is ensured by having a safe operating room environment, all equipment is functioning up to its standards and the operating procedure being performed is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.  As a Surgical technologist you must be extremely knowledgeable in the application of sterile and aseptic technique. Combining this knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation tools and technologies you will facilitate a physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

CURRENT AVAILABLE SHIFTS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS ARE: (Shift Locations and Pay Rates will be discussed when applying) 

• 3:00p.m. to 11:30pm
• 7am to 7pm 64 hours/2 weeks
• 9pm to 7am  80 hours
• 11am to 730pm  80 hours
•  6:30am to 7pm
• Surg Tech   -    per diem
• Weekend Day Shift

REQUIREMENTS:
 

• Successful completion an accredited educational program for surgical technologists and holds and maintains the Surgical Technologist Certification administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting however, upon completion of an accredited education program for surgical technologists, graduates may practice for up to three months before completing certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
• One year of experience in an Operating Room
